:: WatW :: AUSTRALIAN memories.

This picture was taken back in the 2006, during my honeymoon in Australia. The past week has been a warm, better say hot, sunny summerly week and this made me feel nostalgic of one the most beautiful place I have ever seen: the Whitsundays Islands. We visited just one of them for one single day but still it is one of my favorite memories of the whole honeymoon... Right now I would love to be there, sitting on that white beach, looking at that blue perfect sea....

More from my australian trip (btw... you guys, who live there... You are so lucky!! Your country has so many natural beauties!!!)

:: WatW :: again LONDON.

some more pictures about our last trip to London because... well it has been so funny! and because we are not doing anything these days (thanks rain!)
As last picture... us! a family portrait exactly as we are: crazy!!! It was taken at the Sky Garden, a place 155 metres up to London with a restaurant and a cafeteria. The panorama from the top is breathtaking! You have to book the entrance in advance (no fee required) but it worth it if you want to see London from the top and you can't wait for the London Eye!

come ultima foto..noi! esattamente come siamo... completamente matti!!

:: WatW :: LONDON - part I.

A couple of weeks ago we spent 4 days in London. I was excited because, even if this would have been my fourth time there, I have never really "understood" that city. I used to remember some parts of it but not the whole "idea". One of the advantage of having kids is that you become slow...sometimes really slow. It is bad if you want to see many places but it helps on focusing on one part before seeing another! I tried to focus my daughters attention on everything british such as the double-decker bus, women's hats (seriously... it seems a must if you are dressing in a certain way!) and masterpieces such as the Clock Tower or the Globe Theatre.

we just had to start from Buckingham Palace... "Seriously, mummy, there are a Queen and a Princess inside there? Can we see them?"... Emm, honey, next time ok?

Possiamo vederle?" La prossima volta tesoro ok?

Zoe, when daddy says smile please do it!

we just loved Greenwich! We took a boat to go there (it was nice seeing London from a different prospective!) and had lunch with an amazing hamburger! There is always a market near where you arrive with the boat and, of course, there is the famous meridian! (more info here)

I will share more pictures soon! Meanwhile... I found this both interesting and funny article about english stereotypes.
